    I once rented a flat from a West-End estate agent. He told me that at another of his blocks a tenant complained about a drunken, smelly Irish tramp turning up and banging on the Foyer doors in the early hours.

    Turns out Dave Stewart owned a flat in the block and the tramp was Bob Geldof.

    Careful about getting facts like that out, it's absurdly easy to be accused of racism when you point out that certain parts of the world have rampant population growth that vastly outstrips the resources. Natures approach to dealing with that is population collapse via famine, as humans we head that off of course....
