Ive got one and have to say I was a bit surprised how shoddy the fixing arrangements were but then thought about the fact there 800k+ of them so wasn't gonna be anything else. Mine just kinda balances on the washers but happy enough with that.

Just had mine delivered and still intact - a first for yodel.

The packaging is excellent I must say. So is the poppy!

Ours came - Yodel initially put a note halfway through the letterbox while I was sat in the kitchen working. I was pretty irritated by this, but they came back later in the day to try again so a rather waste of effort on their part.

It's pretty cool and very well packed.

    Yeah, I got that email.

"Your parcel is awaiting collection" - shows Jan/Feb as expected delivery.

Ah, this will be related to the Fed Ex I calls I keep missing. :-)

Edit : Or may be not as seems to be a Yodel monopoly.

I received my tracking number today - first thought was "it's yodel - if it does turn up, it'll be broken"

    Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for buying a poppy from Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red, an installation by artists Paul Cummins and Tom Piper. The installation has now finished, so your poppy is being picked and will soon be on its way to be cleaned, packaged and delivered to you as planned - in fact some poppies have already been delivered.

Each ceramic poppy is one of the 888,246 that have been hand-made and planted in the Tower of London's moat during the past three months. Each poppy will vary by texture, colour and finish. This variation is an intrinsic part of the installation.

    Order details
    Order number: XXXXXXX

Orders with multiple poppies: As they are packaged individually, please note that if you ordered more than one poppy you will receive an individual tracking number for each poppy on the order.

    Delivery details

However please be aware you may not receive your poppy before Christmas, particularly if your poppy is being delivered outside the UK. On receiving your order, please remember your poppy is ceramic and may not withstand a hard frost.

You can check the status of your order by entering your email address and order number on our view order status page.

    Moving home?
If you move home and haven't yet received your poppy, please email poppies@hrp.org.uk to update your delivery address as soon as possible.
