    scary, do you work where I do, our VM guys do exactly that all day every day..

    getting the DNS & sizing wrong so the VMWare servers fall over with licensing problems.

    restricting access to the management tools so the administrators can't manage the servers.

    undersizing the systems despite clear instructions on sizing from application owner.

    starting a P2V with 'lets hope it works'.
