Okay get the message, still worth the ask. I wasn't talking rates I was meaning number of contractors so something like 1st Lloyds 2nd BT 3rd Barclays etc.

I have found that companies with a name starting with either letters of the alphabet, or numbers, tend to offer the best IT Contractor rates.

....then again, these same companies also seem to offer both the worst and middling rates

Do you mean top in terms of number of contractors? The top client for me is the one that pays the highest rate for what I do.

Top clients for taking on IT contractors?

Does CUK or anyone provide a list of top UK clients hiring contractors (not agencies but clients)? I imagine that the banks will top the list but I was just wondering if anyone had any official stats?
