The iprofile thing is from the agency whose job you applied for. Its not a jobswerve thing.

It doesnt change the displayed profile but now you have an 'associated cv' title displayed on the home page.

I tried numerous times on that drop down as it seemed obvious you should be able to make a selection. But, it my 'feedback to them, they just said upload your cv and create your profile.
Lol true, but the big difference is that the default "CV" that agents/recruiters get to download is your CV, instead of the crap profile. Earlier, since we had no way to change the default downloadable CV, agents got the weirdly formatted JB profile, which is no more the case

I've bailed out too. It lets you remove the profile via the 'My Profile' tab towards the bottom of the page - the pane with the tabs for 'CV's' and 'saved searches'. Got rid of the CV too, just incase they try any more tomfoolery.

Incidently, they've managed to set my location to Italy. Not sure why since i've never so much as set foot in the country. Would that make me a suitable candidate for a gig as an Admin Assistant in Brindisi at 150 a day? JS seem to think so

I read this thread and figured I'd better investigate. I uploaded my latest CV, and it swallowed it up, then digested for a bit and vomited up the most nonsensical piece of garbage imaginable.

For a start, nobody outside Microsoft's PR department called it "Active Server Pages" even when it was being used, it's now called Classic ASP, and the fact that I did occasional work with it in the early years of the century does not mean I'm hunting for roles involving it in 2013

"Personal Home Page" had me confused for a while, until I remembered that it was the proper name of PHP. Or, more accurately, that was its name between 1995 and 1997. Yes, it hasn't been called that for sixteen years, Jobserve, you bunch of muppets

I didn't get any further than making a few edits to the farrago of nonsense it had churned out before simply going for the "Bin this dross" option. I've always found gigs by searching and contacting agents myself, and it looks like I always will - although I daresay Jobserve will be going bust before too long if they carry on inflicting this abomination on their users.

WHS - I've never even used the tools that were listed as 'Excellent' - they appeared on my CV in the context of a data migration.
