I can only give you one example from a friend who does some microsoft development, architecture and consulting along with GIS for a big oil company in the Netherlands. 80 euro or 85 euros per hour, but that is direct just using an umbrella co on the company's list of approved payrollers. He has also got some knowledge of environmental issues along with the IT skills and consulting.

Rates in The Netherlands can be higher than in the UK in some cases.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks in advance.
IT based but not programming, £100 a day then.

    No idea.

Was approached for a role with Gazprom, coding in London and their rate was mediocre to say the least.

I realise they are not an Oil company, but related.

No idea what the client will pay the agency. You might be super awesome in a rare field and command a fortune whilst being fleeced by the agency and providing them with a 75% commision and walking away with 500pd. If that is the case I am not sure what the agency will be getting.

Or you might be brand new to the world of work in a full field with nothing notable about yourself at all in which case ... not sure.

Have you tried asking them what they are willing to pay?

Why accept/consider a contract without all the facts to hand?

Try doing a search on the job boards that sound like a similar role and work out what the ball park figures are!

Your criteria are too vague. There is a wide range of rates in IT.
Also you can add anything between 15% and 30%* depending on the agency.

*It can be less than 15 or more than 30 but only if they're on the clients PSL or or are crooks.
