    That's what I found when making my first move into contracting - I spent alot of investment in qualifications moving from one profession to another - only to find the biggest bunch of dysfunctional, lying inbreds that dared to blag their way into sub 6 figure contracts.

    I fitted in immediately.

    I don't think many people lie, but a lot of people exaggerate or embelish their CV. In IT, for example, a company may say 'must have 5 years experience' in a particular piece of software when really sometimes 2 - 3 years is more than enough. I remember applying for jobs in 2001, stating must have 3 years experience in Windows 2000

    No - I have a mortal fear of getting caught.

    When I need to bolster my CV, I add it through training and experience in my current contract.

    Currently volunteering for a big implementation of some SM software that's going to make me a very popular person later in the year.

    It's all about thinking about your next contract before your current one comes to an end...
