    Back to the main point, if your husband had some balls he should have said no and the agent would be back accepting that it was a piss take on his part. They tend to do this to first time contractors.

    As this is the OH's first contract, accept it at the £10 lower rate and look again in 6 months time. Unless OH can afford to be choosy. And btw - don't mess with Netmums...
