Tried that one this morning - they were having none of it. They suggested I sign up via DD and then stop paying after the contract was up!!!

I'm on the first page now and have selected "Show All Trades" on the Trade / business details pulldown.
On the next pulldown (Now select your trade / occupation) I don't see an entry for Test Manager(?)

I'm a test manager too but they managed to find a match for meOriginally posted by mbriody View PostJust tried that - the Axa quote was £131 but didn't offer PI. The only one that did cost £390.
On all of these I have difficulty finding a matching job title. I am a Test Manager and on this last quote for example the nearest I could find was "Consultant - Software".

That's really the whole problem - everyone's quotes are different because everyone's business, turnover and risk profile are different and that makes comparison a bit tricky.
The only real way to compare accurately is to ignore everyone else's rates, take the your own unique business model to several providers and pick the cheapest. Your cheapest provider might not be mine.

I've still managed to avoid any insurance, I know Atos Origin demand it but otherwise !?Originally posted by ratewhoreYes it's common.
I bought mine from Trafalgar although I believe the PCG also have an offering (and you may want to consider joining them anyway)...

PCGPlus will cost you £220+VAT
Employer Liability
Public Liability
Prof Indemnity
For the above three you are looking at anywhere between £180 - £380 depending upon your PI level of cover needed from Randal Dorling.
Cheers,
RR.
