Go to Brunel Professional Risks who can inform you of all prices and cover.

I bought mine from Trafalgar although I believe the PCG also have an offering (and you may want to consider joining them anyway)...

I've still managed to avoid any insurance, I know Atos Origin demand it but otherwise !?

Just gone through the quote process and I got £357 as well (at Randell Dorling).

            Did you do yours online?

Just tried that - the Axa quote was £131 but didn't offer PI. The only one that did cost £390.

On all of these I have difficulty finding a matching job title. I am a Test Manager and on this last quote for example the nearest I could find was "Consultant - Software".

That's really the whole problem - everyone's quotes are different because everyone's business, turnover and risk profile are different and that makes comparison a bit tricky.

The only real way to compare accurately is to ignore everyone else's rates, take the your own unique business model to several providers and pick the cheapest. Your cheapest provider might not be mine.

I always make the agency pay. You just have to wait until you accept the offer.... they let the client now you have accepted.. you get the contract and you object to that clause. Rather than let the deal collapse they always pay up.... make sure you get an email confirmation they have paid for it and you are covered before you sign the contract. Done this 4 times now.
