Also FCSA - anyone had dealings with them? Every been able to call them and get support?

Reason I’m asking is because I feel it’s about time we the ‘workers’ who have been earning the money demand better. The government changed the rules, they should make sure we’re protected and not left picking up the pieces.
I want to see better governance, more transparency and contracts not looking at these firms to worm their way out of things. More information regarding our rights after 12 weeks.
I hope you can work with me, as at the moment I’m one person pestering my MP!
Umbrealla companies don't work for you, so the FCSA won't give a damn about workers

Daniel also shows a fundamental misunderstanding of who the money belongs to alongside a whole set of other issues.

And I will caution anyone thinking of joining Daniel - protect what we currently have because if umbrellas are banned (as many people who don't understand the whole market wish) the outcome (Professional Employment Organisations / PEOs) will be way, way worse - as in that world you won't be a customer with the ability to switch to a different umbrella you will be an worker to abuse

    Daniel,
I’m intrigued by your thread title - it says “Umbrella firms and honesty
I assume you are a member of the Conservative party, because you use the word “honesty” and then use phrases like “we the workers”, implying that you are a contractor, when in fact you are a parasite, (sorry - autocorrect) “paralegal”.
Have you just started contracting since your company was declared insolvent a couple of weeks ago?
