Contract is with hays, sub contracted from capita. Field glass is used by capita. You have a contract with hays, you invoice them and they pay you. Why would capita get you to go through an agency and then deal with your invoices?

My MOD contract, extensions, invoices and payments was with Capita, but I was contacted, interview arranged by and feedback received from Synergise. It's entirely possible that his contract will run the same way.

I have a question to ask Hays / Capita on Monday but thought I'd put it on the forum in case anyone else had experience..

In my circumstance will I be invoicing Hays (my nominated agency) or Capita who sit above Hays?. Is it Hays who will be putting cash in my bank account or Capita?. If it's Hays do they wait to get funds from Capita?.

I'll speak to the agency on Monday but wanted to see if anyone has experience here..

    Thanks
Quite a few agencies use Fieldglass as a timesheet system, my current contract via Alexander Mann is using Fieldglass too, it's a third party supplier and tbh it's been reliable for me.

The role I mentioned apart from the Agenty sales bit of introduction and feedback all the rest, including payments, on boarding and the HR type stuff was done by Capita, I don't know if that was a one off or routine. I got the impression that MOD had basically outsourced their whole contractor HR function to Capita and that other Government Departments were doing the same.

I did an MOD one via Synergise (or whatever they're called) last year. It's a bit annoying, but it does work after a fashion.

No part of DWP is in Cobalt. All the third parties bar 1 that were based there had to leave a while back and are now either in Benton or back at their own offices. Oh and that ain't second hand rumour....

As for the Tyne Tunnel it ain't so bad now the second tunnel and refurbishment have finished. The current pain is diversion routes people are taking to avoid the Western Bypass work where they are adding an additional lane....
