    You still have the legal responsibility of running the company. You can continue to pay yourself. Theoretically any salary can be challenged as not wholly and exclusively for business purposes as far as CT relief goes but I wouldn't give it a second thought.

  • Continuing to pay a director's salary whilst on a sabbatical

    Following a contract from hell and an early escape, I am planning a three month jolly.

    How does one and their PSC stand legally if s/he continues to receive their Director's salary whilst holidaying and doing virtually nil work for the company whatsoever during that time? (By "virtually nil", I mean I will log on to my accounting app and log a couple of company expenses such as mobile phone and bank fees, but that's literally it).
