My daughter did some work for an American company and had a gmail account set up to project the company name as the domain name.

I use a work named gmail account on my jobboard CVs and switch to my business email as soon as I get a tickle.
The amount of spam I get on my work gmail account is huge.

Mine seemed sensible at the time and is good because it has both our initials in it showing my wife is an equal partner since setup.
I did make it too long though and realised what a pain it was when writing cheques back in the day.
My websapce was only bought to get the email address really but I think it gives a more professional look to emails, especially on my Plan B.
