They are now thinking about faking PCR tests to get a refund (they know someone who is positive, get them to do the tests and post off, suddenly insurance pays up).
This is the attitude and morality of the right.

No, the EU don't control everything...
Friends of ours (who considered Nick Ferrari, GBNews, the Mail and the Tories as reliable, balanced centrists, and followed the big red bus) are supposed to be going on holiday to Italy this weekend as part of a large group.
It appears that they believed that "The EU" control all the border regulations for individual countries, and so, rather than checking the specific requirements for travel to Italy, they just looked what "The EU" said.
They spoke to a travel agent earlier this week about something else, and the travel agent asked them if they had done the necessary checks for entry to Italy. Turns out two of the group can't go, due to failing the Italian requirements.
Our friends then got on to the Foreign Office, the Italian consulate and other government bodies to find out why, only to be told it was the Italian rules and they need to follow them. They have asked for a special exception just for them, etc. No luck.
They sent us an email offering for us to go on holiday with them "Because Italy has broken the EU law"
No matter what, they still won't accept that they believed a lie, continue to believe it, and even when it's proven wrong to them, they won't give in, but instead want special treatment.
I suspect they will be voting further to the right in the next election, as this government have clearly failed to deliver the promised Brexit.
I feel sad for them about their holiday, but not with that attitude.Tags: None
