"Jacob Rees-Mogg set for £800,000 dividend from Somerset Capital Management
Jacob Rees-Mogg, the leader of the Commons, is in line for a dividend payment of about £800,000 this year after the fund management firm that he founded weathered the emerging markets wobble.
Somerset Capital Management reported profits for distribution of £14.9 million for the year to March, down from £19.5 million last time."
Just because JRM's business was more successful than Keir Starmer's a net worth of a few million is important in a party that believe the rich should pay for the feckless.
Do Labour believe the rich should pay for the Tories, even if that's the reality of it?
Let's get this right, he bought a house in 2004 for £650k, it's now possibly worth £1.8m.
But he didn't pay himself £800k in dividends this year, did he?
Then again, let's put a bit of perspective on all your links.
JRM worth over £100m, that's perfectly OK, but for a Labour politician who has actually done work in his life as a successful barrister, to be worth under 5% of that, and you're wetting yourself with glee at calling them equal.

I think most people would consider working for the Rothschilds & similar as a real job. Running his own business and making many millions is fairly impressive.
Rees-Mogg’s first job was at the Rothschild investment bank followed by a move to Hong Kong (where he befriended Christopher Patten the last British Governor of the now Chinese territory) to join Lloyd George Management in 1993. He returned to London in 1996 to handle the company’s emerging markets funds and from 2003 to 2007 Rees-Mogg managed Lloyd George Emerging Markets Fund. In 2007, Jacob founded Somerset Capital Management, a fund management firm. He initially stepped back from the running of Somerset Capital when he became an MP in 2010, but retained an advisory role, which he later withdrew from in 2019 following his appointment as the Leader of the House of Commons.
