    EU is giving uk extensions not so that the uk will pass may's deal, but just to give the uk more time to cancel brexit altogether. Like when in friends Ross and Chandler wait for Joey to understand a joke, in the same way the EU is allowing the more challenged uk to get the situation in its own time
