Only if it reinforces their deeply entrenched prejudices and biases. Evidenced truth that goes against their beliefs is dimissed as propaganda.

Especially if it is on the side of the bus. I wonder how many still believe that the UK sends 350 million quid per week to the EU. Anyone?

Just waiting for 2nd referendum - and if we don't vote the way the EU want there will be a 3rd.

We need a PM who thinks no deal all the way.

They at least have the strength to put some sanctions in place and they are stronger than Japan (trade wide). The UK however cannot as it would risk any future trade deal with Japan, so we would bend over and let Japan do whatever they want.

Actually this is something which could affect any future trade deals:

MPs want 'meaningful vote' to be able to veto post-Brexit trade deals - Sky News

When Liam Fox, who has basically done sweet FA up to now, gets around to sorting out new trade deals it could -

    (a) either be good by protecting British interests or
    (b) be bad by capitulating to foreign trade negotiators

Exactly. You've just supported my very argument. The main trade argument for Brexit is we can have new, better deals with the likes of China and Japan, but as you say, China are maybe not as nice as your overlords have portrayed them. So we;re throwing away good trade with our close neighbours, in order to get shafted by the likes of China and the US.

As you've supported the argument, pray tell how this is project desperation? Unless you now agree that Brexit will make the UK more desperate.

My link shows bad blood between China and the UK as we're taking out Chinese tech and they aren't happy. Given we need China to be our friends, and we will be desperate to get a trade deal with them, us upsetting them surely can't be a good thing .... unless we do hold all the cards and they need us more than we need them
