This Brexiteer dog whistle obsession about treacherous expats is reminiscent of a past demagogue going on about rootless cosmopolitans, detached from the nation state.

Correct. We haven't even left yet, but the country is already worse off as companies and investors plan for Brexit. Once Brexit hits, those small enterprises who survive on very small margins will start to go under and will have any even bigger impact on the economy.

But, hey ho, we get to control our borders and keep those nasty foreigners out ..... or will we?

I forgot to transfer my pounds into Belgian francs before I left.
Soon my pounds will be worth less than the Rands ,I left behind in 71.
