You're provided with so much information proving that Brexit is impacting the uk negatively, and yet you still don't get it. Do you walk around your whole life with your hands over your ears muttering 'waa waa waa' to ensure you don't have to hear something you don't like.

Your ignorance of what is happening is astonishing.

Nothing to do with where it's going to, nothing to do with the EU, but because of Brexit.
Because of what you voted for, investment is flooding out of the UK.

And it's because the CBI is saying that Brexit is the reason, that this thread belongs and will remain in the Brexit sub forum.
Quite right. We don't want this sub forum to be another safe space for cretins who might be triggered by bad news about Brexit.

Until you prove that this statement is logically valid, your post does not belong in this thread.

    Provide this proof.

Straw man. Nobody in the thread said that it was flooding into the EU. This is scaremongering by you, based on opinion and supposition.

FDI stats on flows of investment into the U.K. are available on the website of the ONS. You’re free to do your own research and reach your own conclusions from the freely available data, clearly you wouldn’t believe it if anyone posted it here.

    Live the dream

Brexiteers knew investment would fall as we moved towards global marginalisation. They knew jobs would become more difficult to get. They knew the tsunami of Indians would push them from comfy IT roles into picking brussel sprouts in the badlands of East Anglia. They are not morons. They are not cretins. They realised it would be better if we all pulled together and built a better future for ourselves and our sons.

Stop being so materialistic. Who needs a well paying job when you've got sovereignty?

  • Business investment in UK enters worst period since financial crisis

Britain has entered its worst period for business investment since the global financial crisis amid concern that crashing out of the EU will trigger lasting damage for the economy, according to a Guardian analysis of economic news over the past month.

Against a backdrop of heightened uncertainty as Theresa May struggles to secure support for her Brexit plan in parliament, figures published this month reveal that corporate spending on machinery, buildings and research has fallen in three consecutive quarters. That has not happened since the last recession almost a decade ago.
