So you are actually a trainee accountant, doing someone else's accounts. And you don't know how to do payroll year end with RTI?
How about asking your Tutor or asking on an actual accountants forum, like Accounting Web.
The only person likely to get any sympathy around here is your client.

i am a trainee accountant, and doing it for the first time..never used RTI before. and so I am stuck...so basically I am not a wanna bee accountant. unfortunately, payroll has never been discussed in my accountancy books hence suffering, if you cant help, don't bother messaging, its stressful as it is.

Hi this is my first year doing the accounts from start to finish.
As for payroll, the client, who is also the director of the company gets the NI calculated via employee method.. How do I do calculate the final payment on the tax year on RTI. when i select yes for final payment of RTI it tells me about a different way of calculating NI but does not take me to any other page to do that. it wont even go forward if I press yes this is the last payment? Helppppp!! also now do I need to change my NI calculation from employee method to director method?Tags: None
