    What's a PSC?

If you want umbrella, then try someone like ContractorUmbrella - I have no idea which one, since I'd never use one.

If you want to setup a limited company, there are plenty of companies that can do it for you. Have a look at the "Company Formation" link on the right.

If you want accounting services, then there are lots recommended on here, e.g. Nixon Williams, SJD, Uptons. I use a local one to me, but that's my choice.

orangegenie are doing the same things as an accountant http://www.orangegenie.com/ltdco_services.htm like SJD etc

there cost is 105 + VAT. but this includes all professional indemnity + EL + PL insurance. plus all this comes in one package. also they are going online within a week so all bookkeeping is online.

nixon williams cost is low but with insurances it comes similar to orangenie especially as my Professional indemnity is 500000.

the only feedback that I am lacking is contractors experience with orangegenie.
OrangeGenie are one of the old MSCs, which are more than likely going to get looked into shortly by HMRC - best to stay away for that reason if nothing else.

I use Danbro, and i have not had any trouble with them. People on this site are so pro sjd and Nixon, although some of my colleagues say that they have had nothing but hassel from the bigger organisations like this.!

Don't bother with any of them.

360 are not the most popular people on here with those that have used them.

PSC's are pretty much pointless since the budget.

Unless you are only planning on contracting for a very short time then a Brolly will cost you more a lot more money.

SJD, Nixon Williams and Quay Accounting are all good, reputable accountants who know the contractor market. Set up your own Ltd and have far more freedom and a lot more money to boot.

Talk to any of the above three and they will be happy to talk you through the process and explain things to you.

I would agree, I cannot see why you would go with a brolly, I have never met my accountant, nixon williams, there is simply no need to.

I moved from giant's brolly recently have have not looked back.

Obviously others may have different views, but I cannot see the point in dealing with any of these ex-Brollies.

A decent accountant, such as SJD, Quay, or others as recommended on here, combined with an hour or so of your time each month is all it takes.

Unless you feel happier with the face-to-face bit (which an ex-Brollie isn't going to give you) then go with a recognised specialist accountant who is recommended here.
