I did a project in that building once - the part furthest from Victoria station was 151 Buckingham Palace Road - home of the MHRA and some other government entities, mainly health related. I think they all moved out a while back though. The other half was always shared space with lots of companies listed outside. Horrible old building but it was nice to have a view over the train tracks and watch the steam trains coming and going occasionally.

Looks like it's owned by https://www.gawcapital.com/portfolio...e-road-london/

With the company 123 BUCKINGHAM PALACE ROAD TENANT LIMITED running it so doesn't look like it.

Looks like it's a co-working space with even Google havings a footprint there. I didn't think you could register companies at temp/co-working type places but it appears you can. I am sure there are good reasons to do so but IMO it just feels that anyone doing that has something to hide. Same for registering with mail forwarding places but then again you can do it at your accountants so maybe I'm being pessimistic. Wouldn't fill me with any confidence if I was working with a company that did this, particularly a shady sounding financial setup.

If it's these guys they are no longer registered with the FCA

Would need more info to make sure it's the same people though. If it is them their SIC code puts me right off for a start. 70100 activities of head office? Yer right.. Scam finance company hiding under random SIC code.

But yeah, just looking at the wording puts me right off. Quick teaser and then a contact me. Absolutely no need for a reputable company selling something useful to do that. It's like the ads for WFH jobs, make millions, work at your own pace so contact me.. Why.. just tell us what the frickin job is.

    Vertical Finance

I received the following email today to my LtdCo email address. The sending email was from vidvi.net - which is a lead generation company. The alleged company that it's from - "Vertical Finance" does not exist on CoHo.

To me, this stinks of a scam, and when it mentions "Loans", alarm bells ring. If you receive an email like this BEWARE.

GGS loans (think Bounce Back Loans 2.0) are back—I can help with the application, business plan, and maybe even ditch the PG.

Also, we've got some under-the-radar car and van lease deals—manufacturer rules mean we can't advertise them online.

Curious? Just email me your number, and let's squeeze in a call, all will be revealed.

    Cheers,

    Fran Chaplin
