WHS - think I am on 4th by now, not been an issue BUT my accounts and questions are likely to be very easy, if you need detailed help you might find a junior lacking

Now we all know that a good accountant not only depends on the company but individual accountant you get given. The one I been changed to sounds like a junior accountant. Which is not the best thing to happen right when its your end of year accounts!

Would people think better for me to try my luck with Dolan instead if I got changed to junior level person?
I know same could happen there but I hear good things about Dolan.

There's too many of the sausage machine accountants where the service has gone from OKish to dreadful. Keep an eye on things and get out at the first sign things are going pear shaped. Of course, they might not.

I think you'll struggle to find many larger setups that don't use juniors to be honest. I've found that the service I got has stayed the same and most standard questions were handled by my nominated contact at the time. Occassionaly got a 'get back to you' and they did. Still get my quarterly review, everything done on time and the like so I've no qualms so far. There is nothing overly complex about a standard contractor setup and FA does much of it so unless you've got some complex setup or don't want to understand your own accounts (no disrespect, some just let the accountant do it all) I'd rather give them a chance keeping a close eye on it than changing accountants before I've tried it. Better the devil you know and all that.
