Previously on "Moving to Spain - keeping UK limited company - where and how do I pay taxes?"
Well I could post it, but it's tailored, and I don't want other people reading the thread, thinking "that sounds like my situation", and following it, when its not their situation at all
I should point out that wasn't meant as a dig in any way shape of form
Your advice is nuanced and technical and valuable so anything posted online would end up with people doing exactly what you feared.

Leave the worthless and generic speculation to us, it's our strong point.
I note that all your advice has been kept off this forum - well done.

Which is quite concerning, as I'll find it difficult to buy food without clients... Will need to do some more research into this...
Hmmmm. You have three months of 2021 remaining. You're going to have to get a move on. Spanish payroll through an international payroll provider sounds like your best option to me. Be very careful, there are (very large, very aggressive) sharks swimming in those waters.
You will have the same issue with most clients and agencies - anything complex is way too much work for them to deal with so they move on to the next person.

Okay, this is what I was afraid of. I'd prefer to just become an autonomo and invoice people, but that would lose the client, beginning to think it might be easier to find a different client...

Your options are to get everything set up properly with help from someone like Sue B or start looking for work in Spain (which sadly would be at Spanish rates).
No you will be working for a UK company via a separate UK company while living in Spain.
This is going to be a world of pain for you as HMRC will be expecting your company to pay tax on the work they believe you are doing in the UK (remember you are invoicing a UK company via you UK company for time and material based work) while Spain is going to be expecting to receive tax for the work you are doing in Spain (which is the work your UK company is invoicing for).
You need specialist advice as this gets very, very complex, very very quickly and it may well be that an international payroll option is a better bet.
