    isn;t being a company secretary of a similar standing to director? It means less these days as it's no longer required but surely means something.

    It might be possible if she is a director via an executive pension plan as directors do not have to take a salary and be on the payroll.

    We have certainly done pension contributions for a director who did not take a salary via an EPP - ie paid out of the business into the pension.

    I have a limited company where my wife is the company secretary and a shareholder, but is not on the payroll.

    I am about to sort out Employer Pension Contribution, but am I able to make pension contributions to my wife if she is not on the payroll?
