    problems opening the account

Has anyone faced a problem with opening the account, for some reason I am.
First it wouldn't scan my passport and had to send a picture.

I opened an ltd few weeks ago, and thought that this will be done quickly, as I saw on several youtube videos, suddenly I am being asked about activity, how old it is, who are the clients and suppliers.
    Any online presence !

How can I have an online presence if I just registered the company last week .....

I am setting up a translation services for contracts and articles and research papers, wills-death-marriage-birth certificates etc....

Did anyone face a similar situation ?

Do Tide inform HMRC that you have opened an account (for Ltd company)?

Thats cool. I'll probably go from cater allen to starling once they support these two things.

I suspect these banks are all going for an exit though.

    No, they don’t need it.

Until they do. I would NEVER put my money in anything that wasn’t FSCS protected.

Does anybody know if Tide links to quickbooks online? or if they plan to do it soon?

I'm hearing Starling/FreeAgent integration is finally due to launch soon. If it does then I'm switching from HSBC to Starling.

It's not accepted as a valid card for Azure services either, for the same reason. I ended up getting a fee-free Barclaycard Business card for this purpose, rather than pay RBS £35 a year for their card.

That is true. I agree it's a pain. Travelodge also don't accept the Tide card for this reason. I had to set up a business Paypal account, linked ot my Tide bank account, to book hotels.

Given the recent struggles that Metro are having, I'm looking to move.

I've signed up to the Monzo waiting list but will have to look at the others and see what looks good.

MyCo has two directors, two PSCs, some direct debits to pay, and I'd want FA integration. And ideally no fees.

If I ditch my accountant (starting to lose faith and trust in them right now) then I'll be getting an RBS account anyway for the FA deal so I may end up there instead :/
