    No, it's not. You'll likely end up paying more tax than if you invested personally.

    Asides from the difficulty in opening a trading account for a company, etc the company would be classed as an investment entity.

  • Is it ever worth starting a LTD co just to trade shares/crypto?

    Lets say you have an existing ltd company for your work, and it pays salary/divs in tax efficient manner

    and you want to invest a decent amount of funds in shares/crypto, is it worth doing via a ltd? I think it looks a bit cleaner myself, but logistically I see a lot of conflicting reports

    I'm thinking you would be taxed double, corp tax and then tax withdrawing profits, and trading companies dont qualify for ER relief if i'm correct?
