Clare's at Clarity, don't think they specialise in contractors...though whether that means they couldn't/wouldn't help or not I don't know.

Its been a while - but just wanted to say I just sacked InTouch after 6 months of abysmal service - good riddance

That’s a shame. It would be useful for us at InTouch, if you could provide your personal Accountant with some feedback on the reasons, as we are always striving to achieve the best level of service as possible for our clients.

I agree that FA has the benefit over our portal in terms of the bank feeds and analyzing the transactions automatically, but it will be hard to find one that does.

Fair play - it's obviously come on a long way in the last 18months. This is a good thing, I'm a fan of competitive markets - it helps raise the bar for all suppliers .

- invoice creation
- dividend vouchers

I ask as I know your previous version didn't, so interested in how it has come along.

Also, what does it do that FA doesnt ? Not a loaded Q, I'm genuinely interested in what other requirements contractors have

Not at all Alan. Our portal actually has more benefits than FreeAgent and is streamlined with all our 3rd party software. The reason being is that the market (contractors) in general seem to be recommended FreeAgent more and more, hence the reason for us adding this extra solution as an alternative to clients.

It's his race engineers I feel sorry for. When the spec for the engine management system comes through and at the bottom it says 'Must be able to export in CSV format'.

Possibly more the case that FA is steadily gaining traction as the industry standard or the client's preferred option. Betamax was "better" than VHS but VHS still became the preferred platform. Bespoke Platform versus FreeAgent is very likely the same thing in action. Darwinism.
