Honestly I don't think they are even wanting of going the legal route, it seems to me more of a scare tactic if a few bite and pay up then they will have made enough to move on again for the next couple/three years until a new name is stamped on the corner of the letter and they try again.

I received half a tree trunk myself on Saturday, it just does not want to go away!
