    Help: Desert Suggestions

OK, we're setting off on a very important expedition next week, we've got guests coming who have visited the larger areas of arid terrain so I need a sophisticated yet easy to prepare in advance desert that we can bury them up to their necks in sand in.

It can't be the Sahara or the Kalahari as they are both ones that I've "lost" too many people in already. Would anyone care to share their prize "sandpit" location?

    p.s. Nothing with Australians, thanks.

    Arid? Large? Easy? Sand?

    How about Essex?

Apple Crumble always goes down well.

(And no, that's not the name of a P0rn Star)
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

He asked for a desert not a wasteland.

            Atacama.
The driest place on earth. Possibly the most hostile environment to be encountered on our planet.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Won't the coldness help preserve the bodies and, therefore, the evidence?

So not a cultural desert, then?
