There's one contractor at ClientOrg - a chap I work with quite closely - who sets out from home at half three on Monday morning to drive to his B&B, somewhere in the country outside Cambridge, then gets the early train in
He then spends the week coming into the office really early and staying until they chuck him out around half seven in the evening, all so he can head back home on Thursday evening - four day week.
It all seems a little excessive to me
