Disconnecting the 5" processor fan means the motherboard cannot tell it has failed.
Plugging in an old 3" fan (that uses the drive power connectors, for some reason) and leaning it against the fins of the processor's heat sink seems to be working.My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.Comment
