Knackered now.
Did some nailing of the felt.
Ordinarily this would be so simple.
You take a nail, you take a hammer, and you knock the frigging nail through the felt into the wood...
Unless your father, who must surely have been on drugs at the time, has cunningly placed tin sheet under the felt, so that you have to drill a frigging hole for each nail before you knock it in...
After I'd done as much as I could stand, and the batteries on the drill were flatter than a flat thing, I mowed the lawn. Which hadn't been cut for at least 3 weeks...
