Then its home, shower, snack and bed for the kids.

Come 8.30 is adult time with wine and snake skin and red chicken

Heard tonight that one of our neighbours is losing his battle with cancer

He had an op today to determine the extent of the disease, but the prognosis wasn't good. He's in his early 50's with 3 kids, and I'm not sure how much the youngest one knows at the moment - they're having to break the news to him tonight I think. I drove past their house while taking DS1 out to Scouts and couldn't even begin to imagine what they're going through tonight.
