Hmmm, a cream heavy, meringue light pavlova. I'm hungry.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostStrawberry pavlova. Could do with more meringue, though, and a bit less cream.
(But then again, I am awake and the two normally go pretty much hand in hand)Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment

We never get bikes any more, as we prefer to walk everywhere (and it's easier with a push chair).Originally posted by voodooflux View PostWe had a great time there Bear - I'm sure you will too! Definitely worth getting some bikes - there is some good cycling to be had round there.Comment

Our kids like those little trailers you can get for the bikes, although DD will be too small for one if we go this year.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostWe never get bikes any more, as we prefer to walk everywhere (and it's easier with a push chair).Where are we going? Needs more meringue and a bit more fruit really. I can't handle all that cream in one go (or two goes, it seems).Originally posted by voodooflux View PostHmmm, a cream heavy, meringue light pavlova. I'm hungry.

Don't know how old your kids are but the creche is great (book early!). My kids used to constantly ask if they could go back.Originally posted by voodooflux View PostWe had a great time there Bear - I'm sure you will too! Great pencil fence around it too! Always amused my kids.
Agree with the cycling comment too. Also if your kids are too young to cycle the cycle centre have all sorts of bikes/trailers suitable for carrying for all ages. The one in France also had golf buggies to hire (can't remember whether Sherwood did) if the thought of cycling is too frightening.

Too much like hard work for meOriginally posted by voodooflux View PostOur kids like those little trailiers you can get for the bikes, although DD will be too small for one if we go this year.
Whinfell has now got those childrens bikes that bolt onto the back of an adult bike like a tandem. They look good if the kids are old enough to balance without falling off.Comment

I wonder what CM's position is on too much cream? Just wondering.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostNeeds more meringue and a bit more fruit really. I can't handle all that cream in one go (or two goes, it seems).
The banoffee pie was a bit cream heavy as well.Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment
