Just had a bit of a panic: I brought my mates laptop into ClientCo today so I could sort it out for him. I've just got it out of my laptop bag and opened the lid to discover that the screen was cracked
There were a couple of heavy dents in the outer case, so I wondered if it had flexed against a CD case in my bag.
I duly phoned him and it turns out that it was already broken and they just connect it up to an external monitor.
And relax...Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment

So to fix this laptop I need to plug it in to an external monitor - and I just so happen to have a spare one sitting on my desk. Alas it doesn't have a kettle lead, and I'll probably have to fill out six forms and wait three weeks to get one.
Or I could just use the ClientCo PC which, let's face it, isn't getting used much at the moment.Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment
