    Thats why we bought it. MrsB suffers from planar fasciitis which restricts the kind of excersise she can do. It was a corss trainer or a rowing machine and the cross trainer takes up less space.

            I have to be careful on the cross trainer though - it's easy to get distracted which can lead to an unexpected, spectacular and painful dismount.

              The treadmills in the gym I used to go to overlooked the swimming pool. Lunchtimes were usually ladies hour in the pool. Which was nice
