(I happen to be acquainted with many of these people, but that's the "Web Standardistas" for you )
I can see why people like it. They live in a world where all of their friends and acquaintances ought to be immediately informed of what they're up to, and vice versa. (These are the people who send text messages as they walk into lampposts.)
I live in a world where we occasionally email each other links to xkcd (or elaborations thereof), or to uncyclopedia
Of course this makes it a bit tricky for me to write a FB app that FB users actually want - but once one gets into that mindset, all the twitter/fireeagle/dopplr/flickr stuff just falls into placeLast edited by NickFitz; 4 January 2009, 03:20.Comment
