It looks like we might have a Christmas where nobody is stuck in bed with flu/cold/whatever, for the first time in years

By some miracle I managed to get through Christmas without being struck down with some illness or other. Made a pleasant change.

I watched that film American Psycho on Film4 late last night - it's actually pretty good, what with its satirical insights into the shallowness of society, and plenty of hookers being abused, mutilated and slaughtered with power tools: something for everyone, really

Great movie - made me appreciate the importance of quality business cards

I never had the opportunity to play with one first hand either unfortunately. I did have a good chat with Bob Harris about Toad The Wet Sprocket though.

I'd like to say I've had a good day, but as I've spent it down the A&E with DD1 with a potential fracture to scafoid it hasn't been too good apart from we missed the sales.

they couldn't find a fracture, but only 20% of scafoid fractures show in the first week, so she has a splint on and we have to go back in 2 weeks for another x ray
