Busy night - cleaned the cooker, built No.1 son's new bed, assembled drawer units for his IKEA T.V. stand thing, and just ordered some more Billy shelves from IKEA.
I may have a beer before turning in.Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment

My Facebook app idea crystallised tonight as I wandered up the road to the pub. I even have a name for it - a nice, short name that says exactly what it does
In creating any web application, there are three primary criteria for success:
- It should do just one thing, and do it well;
- It should allow the user to get rich, or get laid;
- It should work in a familiar way.
For a Facebook application, there's one further criterion:
- It should make it easier to have fun (whether online or in TRW) with your friends.
I think I have this model for this application. I asked a number of the (much younger than me) bar staff at my local who use Facebook what they thought of the idea, and they thought it was a win - after a three sentence description, they immediately came up with ways in which they and/or their friends would use it that I hadn't even thought of
So that's tomorrow sorted out - and I even think I might have worked out a way of making money from it, rather than it costing me money to provide it
