I know what you mean - it was really tough getting up this morning (fnarr, etc.)

They've moving it to 9.30am in the New Year, so that gives me an extra half hour anyway. I'll still be late though probably.

Thankfully swimming club is on a Friday afternoon.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

Today is going to be a festive day, got the deco's out of the loft, cards are ready for writing.
And once we have the tree it will be Christmas

We're off out to pick up a tree in a bit, then I need to hang the massive illuminated "Merry Christmas" sign on the front of the house (I won't even pretend that it's tasteful, but we need to compete with the neighbours). The thin line of lights going around the house *may* still be up from last year

just booked it over the phone, I'll pick the invites up later.

Party bags £1.50/child, bargain if you ask me. I can't be bothered doing all that.

We just want to turn up and have fun, they sort the food and games out.

So we can sit back and have a coffee

Aw bless - I'm sure our kids invite as many people as they can to maximise the gift potential!
