Mrs. VF has a bad case of mastitis

The last time I read that term was in a James Herriot book

No offence to Mrs VF, but to me it's something Yorkshire farmers' cattle used to suffer from in the 1930s

Still, we're all mammals, and therefore prone to the same problems. I hope she recovers soon

Mind you, all I do is sit in the corner reading - it's the occasional thirty-second chats that brighten (or do something to) their respective evenings

Anyway, enough of this frivolity - I must crash out, ready for a Googly day tomorrow

Funnily enough, it was by looking on Google Maps that I realised that, in return for a twenty-minute walk via a good (i.e. traditional English) café tomorrow morning, I can cut about thirty minutes off my journey time, and get some fresh air and exercise - and a freshly-made bacon sandwich to offset any potential health benefits
