I have a phone line but it's not connected to anything.*

I was supposed to get a net phone thing, but that's never arrived either*.

I actually have a phone somewhere, but the actual phone line is dead.

*This pisses the secretary off a tad, since if someone wants to speak to me on the phone, she has to trot up 3 floor to tell me.
