The ZeitGhost(tm) hacked together pile of tulip code on the PIC actually works...
It reads an analogue input & transmits it down the rs232 to the pc.
I is stunned.
And when you twiddle the pot, the value goes up & down.
Next I have to select the correct input (An0) instead of An2, set up the PLL in the 4046 & see if I can find some weather fax stuff to listen to...
