Just to satisfy Scourer's desire for techy stuff, I shall mention the rather boring fact that, although testpleasedelete.com, testpleasedelete.org and testpleasedelete.co.uk all point to the same place, testpleasedelete.net currently points to an Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud virtual machine instance

This is all to do with the long-term plan to store the metadata in Amazon SimpleDB, and carry out complex analyses using clusters of Elastic Compute Cloud virtual machine instances, spawned and disposed of according to the computational demands of the analysis at hand

I haven't really done anything with cluster computing before, so I should learn some fun (and, hopefully, lucrative) stuff
