Also, large, square jaws and larger hips. Applies to males and females with a maximum age of about 25ish.Originally posted by zeitghost View PostHave you noticed that young ladies' bosoms seem much more generous these days than they did in our youth?
I think there must be something in the water.
It is the growth hormones that was in the imported meat from the Americas.
Merkins all have the same shape: huge hip bones and big square jaws. Given the USA does not have one gene type - why should they all be of that bone structure?
Growth hormones.
One of the many things Europe has right: restricting their use.Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

I did. Back in 1984 when I switched to organic food and refused to buy anything with additives in it.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostIt's the growth hormones, and it's not in the water, it's in the meat.
The current generation of young adults all grew up during a time when farmers were allowed to feed growth hormone supplements to their livestock.
At the time, the politicians from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food assured us that this wasn't a problem, as their scientific advisers had, in their turn, assured them that the procedures followed ensured that said hormones didn't actually make it into the meat by the time we ate it.
We now have a generation of unnaturally large people, which the government claims is due to better nutrition and healthcare, although they've quietly restricted the use of growth hormones in the food chain.
Draw your own conclusions...
That seriously reduced my shopping options till everyone else got on the band wagon.
