        In Russia siberian hunters traditionally hunted squirrels for their fur and they had to hit them in an eye as otherwise fur was damaged - this is probably humane as the death is quick, even though right now I don't approve of furs - cute animals needn't die for that - there are plenty of warm scottish made stuff that is very warm
