Marginally, although any minute now we're off to sister's parents-in-law for dinner, after which I can make my escape back to the sanity of my flat

Same kind of wine as yesterday (drinking my way through the cellar, as we're off to France in a couple of days!), so hopefully might manage a glass today.

Half a glass of bubbly, and half a glass of wine yesterday

Will try mulled wine in a minute, then the champagne, then the wine to see if that helps any.

Failing that, lemon tea it is.

That was on offer, but I went with gammon instead. The turkey will be brought out again as sarnies / curry / Chinese / reheated / soup or all of those this week
