It took 3 days to write it, and 4 days to read it back and verify it contained the correct data.
It's the maximum file size supported by the current implementation of NTFS (although the format is able to support vastly larger sizes) and they wanted to make sure it worked properly.
Shame they don't make sure the things people actually do with their computers work properly tooComment
